The Joys of the Season: 4th of July Flag Cake

Happy 3rd of July!! Today is the day when everyone is rushing around to complete their last minute Holiday plans. Well lucky for you, we have a quick and easy recipe that you can bring to your 4th of July picnics that is sure to be a crowd pleaser! A 4th of July Flag Cake! 
Ingredients:

Cake:
White Box Cake (Any brand will do, we chose Betty Crocker)
3 eggs
1 1/4 Cup of Water
1/3 Cup of Oil

Frosting:
2 packs of cream cheese.
1/2 cup Butter
2 cup Confectioners Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla

Fresh, Sunny Hill Strawberries

Blueberries (Fresh, Sunny Hill Blueberries would be preferred, but sadly they are unavailable until the 11th of July :/ )

*You start by making the cake by following the directions on the back of the box.
*As the cake is baking, mix together cream cheese, butter, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
*After cake is fully baked, remove from the oven and let sit.
*Spread frosting over the top of cake evenly.
*Now we begin with the fruit. Make sure to wash your fruit before using it in the recipe.
*Begin by placing the blueberries in the upper left corner of the cake. Organize evenly in a perfect square.
*Next cut your strawberries in half and organize in neat, straight lines. Make about 6 lines of strawberries along the cake.
Ta Da! You have a delicious, fresh, and very patriotic dish that your friends and family will enjoy!
If you like this recipe, but are bummed because you don't have your fresh Sunny Hill Strawberries, do not be alarmed. Sunny Hill is open ALL day on the 4th starting at 6am.
